Anti-bacterial

The tube of the shower is made of copper, so that the danger of bacterial re-contamination from the environmental air is reduced. Therefore the infection risk from pathogens getting from the environmental air into the water system is lowered.

In a large-scaled series of measurements from KIWA (the renowned Dutch Institute for product and water research) dated 2003 confirmed that the growth of legionells is 10 times less in copper than in plastics.
